eventPower setup & management

[ association conferences have requirements that consumer event tools have never heard of. ]

eventPower was built by meeting professionals for the kind of conference that has a paper submission and review process, session tracking, exhibit and sponsorship sales, lead retrieval and both online and onsite registration. that is association and government conference territory, and it comes with requirements that a general-purpose event tool tends to fumble.

what eventPower is good at

the reasons people choose it

paper submission and review

abstract and paper collection with a review process is a genuinely specialized requirement, and having it in the same system as registration and sessions avoids a spreadsheet-shaped gap between acceptance and the printed program.

session tracking

attendance tracking per session is what makes continuing education credit reporting possible without a volunteer at every door with a clipboard.

exhibit and sponsorship sales

booth and sponsorship sales handled in the same platform, so what an exhibitor bought and what appears on your site and in your program stay in agreement.

online and onsite registration together

walk-up registrations at the desk land in the same record set as the ones from three months ago, which is the difference between a clean final count and a reconciliation exercise.

meeting professionals behind the software

eventPower positions its team of certified meeting professionals as part of what you get, which tends to mean the vocabulary matches the way association staff actually think.

where events get stuck

what we usually walk into

none of this is a criticism of the platform. it is what happens when capable software meets a team that is already running four other things.

the gap between abstracts and the program

papers are accepted, and then somebody manually retypes titles, authors and times into the agenda, the website and the printed program. every retype is a chance to be wrong in public.

CE credit that has to survive an audit

session tracking only produces defensible credit reporting if the sessions, the credit values and the attendance capture were configured correctly at the start.

government and association procurement realities

purchase orders, invoices, tax exemptions, W-9s and payment terms that are nothing like a card checkout. these belong in the build, not in a workaround.

committee-driven changes in week ten

a volunteer committee moves a track, splits a session and renames two others. it is normal, and it is far less painful when someone owns the change end to end.

you might be wondering …

questions we get asked

do you handle abstract and paper submission?

yes. collection, a review workflow your committee can actually use, and getting accepted submissions into the session and agenda data without anyone retyping a title. see speaker management.

can you handle CE credit tracking?

we can set up the session structure, credit values and attendance capture that credit reporting depends on. the accreditation rules themselves are yours, but we will build to them precisely if you tell us what they are.

we take purchase orders and checks, not just cards. is that a problem?

no, and it is normal for association and government work. we build the invoice, purchase order and check paths deliberately, including tax exemption handling and the follow-up on what is still unpaid. see registration management.

do you work with our eventPower team?

yes. they own the platform, we own your build and your day-to-day. in practice that means fewer of your questions become support tickets, because most of them are build questions rather than platform questions.

eventPower is a trademark of its owner. we are an independent service provider and are not affiliated with eventPower. we work inside our clients' own platform licenses.
